Get a taste of Punjabi culture & cuisine
I facilitate half day workshops in Punjabi Cuisine where we co-create a Punjabi meal consisting of two main course dishes and chapatis. The event commences with a little tour of India, and an introduction to the Punjab with a brief outline of “My Journey from The Punjab to Plymouth” You are greeted with my signature Greek Chilli Mint Yoghurt Dip and flavoured poppadum which I cook for you.
I offer tips throughout the experience, with advice on where the spices can be purchased locally. I have a small supply for sale too.
We listen to some Bhangra music whilst making our chapatti to celebrate the folk music of The Punjab.
We sit together and share the meal, and recipes are available electronically as well as a hard copy.
All ingredients, apron hire and hot drinks are provided throughout. Feel free to bring your own favourite tipple.
You can choose your two main course dishes prior to your workshop from the menu.
The venue is my home in Peverell. I also travel to facilitate workshops in other people’s homes as well as school kitchens for teaching staff and pupils.
I offer 1-1 workshops at £120
Groups of less than 4 are £75 per head
Groups of 4-6 are £50 per head
